Ten Years Ago, Ten Years Later, Looking Back, China University of Geosciences (Beijing) and Lab Companion Cooperate Again

    Located in Xueyuan Road, Haidian District, Beijing, China University of Geosciences (Beijing) is a well-known institution of higher education at home and abroad. The university is a domestic key university directly under the Ministry of Education and jointly built with the Ministry of Natural Resources. It entered the ranks of national "first-rate universities and disciplines" universities in 2017.

    Established in 1952, China University of Geosciences (Beijing) was the merger and departments of geology of Peking University, Tsinghua University, Tianjin University and Tangshan Railway University, which has distinctive characteristics and profound deposits. In 1960, it became a key university in China.​ In 1987, China University of Geosciences was established to run a relatively independent school in Beijing and Wuhan. It is one of the first 33 universities to run a pilot graduate school in China, and the first to enter the ranks of the national "Project 211" and the national "985 Project Innovation platform" construction. In February 2000, China University of Geosciences was transferred from the Ministry of Land and Resources to the Ministry of Education. In March 2005, the university headquarters was abolished, so Beijing and Wuhan were independent schools.
